Throwback Thursday.
This “highlight” is now four years old and I haven’t DJ’d a lot after these stories had been recorded.
Those aren’t my reasons:
Pandemic, #Parkinson’s, financial struggles, Losing some people I truly loved.
What happened?
My (now) wife and I still ran
@holodeck.ma , a sophisticated multimedia space/ office. It was kind of my insane laboratory, her gallery, our personal office, a live streaming studio and just a lovely place to have and we had to shut it down only months later.
I couldn’t care less though.
Four days after these stories had been recorded, I had to code until very late because of deadline pressure on a new job which i had started in September 2021 and still been on trial period
Given the #disability, I was scared to be kicked out and wanted to deliver 110%
In hindsight I was very mislead. I lost the job 13 months ago and I’m happy about that. I’m sure I will get a new job soon.
But – work work work I almost missed one of the most important moments of my life. My wife called, a dozen times at least.
My daughter will be four years old on 28th of February. So – This story collection was published just days before she came to us and I was absolutely clueless of how much she continues to amaze me every day. Just like her brother who will be 8 months a day later
Despite the horrible fact that I got Parkinson’s, I’m a happy man.
I love life even if all the sh*t I’m burdened with is a bit more than I can carry on my own at times
My wife is doing an incredible job keeping everything together and doing all that is humanly possible and more and more and more to support me and our family.
@moskun I could never do the insane and’s sometimes maniac things I’m doing without you but more importantly, the sane, normal and beautiful things we do together, day trips with our kids, holidays and just seeing a light in darkest times.
And I want to say thank you publicly, at least four years late, at least once, for giving birth to our two kids, and being a guardian, angel- like human for all four of us. All the time.
