What an epic event it was & even cooler to do it with the old man, and let him do some driving to. Don’t think we placed in anything but had a ton of fun with Pedro in the car with me so that’s the main thing!

Finished 6061 T6 billet Magneto bracket for the 1910 Maxwell.
Broken 111 year old casting glued back together to modle off.
Happy with how it turned out.

1st big test for the @rdgengineering high steer & panhard relocation kit.
Couldn’t be more happy with it. Has completely taken away bump steer & also made the steering feel much more direct.
This is awesome for feeling what the cars doing both at speed & in slow stuff when the locker is on.
Also gives you much more confidence knowing your rod ends aren’t maxed out angle wise and waiting to snap off.
Had a few people tell me it would never work & it’s asking to much of the kingpin bolts. These kits add an extra bolt & also have dowels to help take the load. They also run 12.9 cap head bolts with nordlock washers
I don’t think we could have tested it any harder than we did at off-road outlaws. We broke a pitment arm & had all our other kingpins come loose but the highsteer didn’t even need a retention.
Very impressed with this kit & have a lot of confidence in it after last weekends testing.
