Last Friday, our Creative Director, Richard Dale, was delighted to be invited onto Meridian FM! For a live interview with the wonderful Dave Roberts.
In their talk, Richard shares many of the exciting antics from his 40 years in the events industry. From his early days as a lighting designer, touring with musicians such as Bucks Fizz, through to large-scale PR stunts and corporate events management for many major global clients.

What an inspiring few days we have had at this year’s Mobile World Congress at the Fira Gran Via Barcelona!
Renowned for being the largest and most influential connectivity event in the world, this iconic exhibition showcases the forefront of cutting-edge technology across the mobile communications sector.
It was a fantastic opportunity to see just how much the industry has evolved, particularly with the influence of AI, being brought to life on so many impressive stands. We can’t wait to begin integrating these technologies into our productions going forward.
We were delighted also to catch up with former colleagues and clients, having produced stands for clients including Nokia Siemens and Motorola in the past, and to experience the new products they were showcasing.
With tremendous thanks to our colleague Amanda Thorp at Phrame, for organising this trip. We are very excited to be working with her and her team on upcoming projects.
We were delighted to work alongside our friends at Visual Elements this weekend to build the Lenovo stand for Bett 2026. This leading EdTech exhibition, held at ExCeL London, showcases the cutting-edge products and pioneering services of the world’s top technology companies. The stand featured multiple interactive areas, including a custom-built illuminated desk, dedicated booth spaces, screens and branded facades. We installed a low-energy LED lighting rig to bring the stand to life, resulting in this eye-catching and vibrant purpose-built space.

There are many production companies capable of delivering great shows, but when the unexpected strikes, that’s when true experience proves invaluable.
Following an intense schedule of building and rehearsing onsite in Riyadh, months of planning and preparation finally culminated to bring this year’s AFC Awards to life.
Despite seamless functionality throughout rehearsals, when an unexpected issue with the venue’s infrastructure arose during the live show, the safety of our performers was our immediate priority.
Our team responded with rapid problem-solving, adaptability and resilience, ensuring the show could continue. We are incredibly proud of how our crew, presenters, and performers adjusted in real time with professionalism and poise.
It is with thanks to this collective effort and expertise that we were still able to deliver a show worthy of the occasion and matching the high-standards that we set for our client and ourselves, and that’s what sets RDE Projects apart.

From an absolutely stunning stage set with state-of-the-art LED technology, to the captivating choreography of breathtakingly talented performers, it is going to be an unforgettable event!

With various projects coming up in the region, we are looking forward to returning to Riyadh for a to visit the stunning recently refurbished King Fahad Cultural Centre. Combining innovative engineering with meticulously designed interiors and state-of-the-art technology, the venue is set to provide the perfect back-drop to an exciting upcoming event. With a 6-section hydraulic stage, dynamic lighting facilities and immersive surround sound, we are so excited to get creative in this fantastic venue!
Having been recently renovated by Gioforma, the venue design draws inspiration from Saudi heritage, culture and geography. Clayworks Rammed Earth plaster walls reflect the Tuwaiq Mountains, while the tent-like fabric ceilings in the foyer echo traditional Saudi Arabian tents. The design pays homage to Najdi architectural traditions, reinterpreting iconic triangular motifs and methods with locally sourced materials to create a modern space rooted in heritage.
