I’m not a sender of holiday cards, but I’ll occasionally make a small group to send to close friends. In this case, the goal was ”fun and pretty”. Also, being just past my 3/4 century, the notion that sometime in my next decade, I’ll have to move my output into 2 dimensions. This presented the need for brushing up some skills. Turning on the Way Back machine. I just pulled this sculpture out of a.box after 4 years and it pleased me. I thought I’d post it again. I’ve got a more advanced phone with better video so here goes: “Red Edge” 2021, 29”x 9”x5”, Walnut, Maple Veneer, Acrylic Paint.
I am pleased to be included in a group show in New York City at the Atlantic Gallery, curated by Ellen Hackl Fagan. The exhibition, titled “Lust for Rust”, will have an opening reception on February 20th, 5:30 - 8pm.
It will run from 2/18 - 3/8 at The Atlantic Gallery, 548 West 28th St, NYC NY 10001
