Welcome to the team, Kyle! 🔧🚲
We’re stoked to welcome Kyle Swanepoel to the RBC workshop as our Trainee Suspension Technician.
Originally from Langebaan in the Western Cape, Kyle has been riding bikes for about 8 years, with a strong love for XC and trail riding. His go-to bike is a 29” GT Sensor Carbon, and when he’s not turning spanners or chasing trails, you’ll probably find him riding in the Baakens Valley.
Kyle has always had a keen interest in suspension and bike setup, which makes RBC the perfect place to grow his skills. He’s also looking forward to getting involved with race events and rider support throughout the season.
Off the bike, Kyle plays guitar and dabbles in photography and video editing, so there’s a good chance he’ll end up behind the camera as well as behind the workbench.
His philosophy on suspension?
“Good suspension doesn’t remove the bumps—it turns them into momentum.”
Fuel of choice after a ride: Flat Coke and a banana.
