Saw this today headed into the office 😮Two billboards ✌🏾 One skyline ☝🏾 And a ton of gratitude 🙏🏽 Seeing both of my films up at the same time, in the same month, is the kind of moment I quietly prayed for. I am in awe it is all actually happening. Two very different stories. Two incredible teams of filmmakers and talent. Countless notes, meetings, cuts, risks, passion and belief. I don’t take any of it lightly. I ❤️ what I do. I 💗 building movies with bold creatives. And I’m so grateful to do it at this scale with such wonderful people. Thank you to every collaborator and co-conspirator who make all of these dope movies possible 🎬 Let’s keep going y’all!
I couldn’t make it to the premiere of one of the most bad ass movies to work on, The Bluff, because I was…unavailable..*ahem* at Trinidad 🇹🇹 Carnival taking a pirate research trip 😉 , so I did what any reasonable studio exec would do — used Photoshop 📸 . If you look closely, that’s definitely me on the red carpet with @priyankachopra@karlurban , director @franke.flowers and the great @agbofilms team. I was there. The Bluff opens TOMORROW on @primevideo 🎬 #TheBluff
Another Carnival, another phenomenal time! 🎉 I’ve been in denial for years, but yes “I am a Road (wo) Man”. Each year I threaten Carnival retirement , but “last year was good, but chasing greatness”. And this year my sister joined for the first time which made it even more special 👯♀️👏🏾👏🏾. “Show dem the time of your life!”
