i turn thirty six today which means i go from being the oldest young person to the youngest old person in the room. heres some memories of me with my friends and family from the last year to document another great year. i’m very thankful at another opportunity to make more memories with everyone!
i started with this then really messed it up to make it actually interesting only for it to sound exactly the same as when i started. which mostly sums up my entire modular synth experience
i was working on this for something else tonight and then decided to just spend 5 mins playing that sufjan song “now that im older” lol. moog matriarch into the rossum panharmonium for the weird spectral stuff. probably a little goes a long way but whoooooo cares
wow i completed another trip around the sun i can’t believe how much fun i’m still having out here !!!! here’s some pictures of me loitering in various places mostly my home and chipotle
been more in the box. some random splice loop messed up with ableton granulator. very cooooooool lol. arturia 2600 bass added for some form so it’s not just a bunch of bloops
just the boys playing boring piano into a sampler again. i did start doing UA sphere at home and it’s really handy to capture XY stereo recordings by just throwing down a single microphone so that’s cool.
lol can’t work on anything ever but at least austen learned about the greatest guitar vibrato of all time the jazzmaster bridge. also i’ve been playing this suhr jm and it’s the perfect summer guitar long strings rule ha
i’m recording at home for fun now because music is so fun to play so i setup these really soft drums and i’ve been playing along to this clairo record a lot at home. it’s really good. i also now have completely kid-proofed recording so bring your families over for sessions!!
took a bunch of @michaelprinceviolin samples and then played them backwards. i finally saw the new true detective so we’re just making weird ice music now. #jamuary #jamuary2024
