Our vacuum tubes are available in three different product lines. The CORE Collection is a great choice for people looking for a straightforward upgrade from the stock tubes that came with their amps. The SELECT Collection is the next level up, helping you get the most out of your existing system. It’s ideal for those looking to upgrade without having to commit to a new amp. The RESERVE Collection is our flagship line. It’s not for everyone, but if you’re the kind of person who demands the best of the best, it might just be for you. Still not sure which one’s right for you? Our website has all the details you need to make your choice.

Local audio retailers are at the heart of audio communities worldwide. We firmly believe that there’s no one better placed to help you with your purchase or support you after the fact. That’s why we don’t sell our vacuum tubes directly to consumers. We want to support communities as a whole, and we think the best way to do that is to support their beating hearts. Our network of retail partners already numbers dozens of stores around the world and we’re always working to expand it. To find one in your region, head on over to the retailers page on our website. We promise they’ll take good care of you!

Our product team has spent a good chunk of the last year redesigning the packaging for all Ray Tubes products. At first, our plan was to address customer feedback by streamlining variations and standardizing sizing. Next thing we knew, we had new prototypes arriving weekly and the office was covered in stacks of artisanal paper, brass stamps, and enough magnets to make the large hadron collider blush. Needless to say, we did a little more than just streamline the design. It ended up taking almost six months, but when the final final prototype came in, it instantly became obvious that all the time spent picking materials and trial-and-erroring our printing process was well worth it. Tube packaging’s come an awful long way since the days when Radioshacks outnumbered Taco Bells. You did good, product team. Along the way, we all learnt a whole lot about the many, many details that go into quality packaging. If that sounds up your alley, check out our blog (link at @raytubes.audio ) for a detailed breakdown.

Here’s a @raytubes.audio family picture. KT-88 in the amp and 12ax7’s in the preamp……and if you ask, “yeah they are that good.” #vintageaudio

We’re introducing a new component to our RESERVE 6SN7 tubes: a rubber damper that sits at the base of the tube and helps to reduce microphonics in certain uncommon circumstances. The ways people listen to music are evolving. Microphonics aren’t a big issue for hi-fi amps in dedicated listening rooms, but it can be difficult to isolate vibrations in more casual setups, like using a headphone amp at your desk. In rare cases, we’ve heard from our customers that they experience minor microphonics with this kind of arrangement. This damper is our solution, because we believe strongly that our tubes - and especially our flagship RESERVE line - should serve the needs of all our customers, even the minority. We’re always committed to going above and beyond the usual, and the damper is just one way that we’re looking to get ahead of concerns our customers have identified. If you’re not experiencing these issues, rest assured that the component is 100% optional and won’t affect the price of our tubes. For more information, including a full FAQ, check out the post on our blog (link in bio @raytubes.audio ).

We’ve updated our website to add a hand-drawn Ray Tubes Technical Drawing for each of our vacuum tubes. These drawings, which show the dimensions and pinout of the tubes, are an invaluable reference for determining amp compatibility, but they’re also a project a long time in the making. Inspired Mark Roberts’ beautiful pencil-and-watercolor illustrations for the McLaren F1 owner’s manual, we’d always wanted to bring a touch of the 1970s to our technical drawings, but finding the right artist was a challenge. Then our CEO Nelson Wu came across the work of artist and designer Izzy Cammareri, whose illustrations adorn the in-house publications of The Peninsula Hotels. Her art has an illustrative quality that’s rare to see in modern graphic design, and that’s why she was the perfect fit for the job. Over the next several months she worked closely with our team to develop the style of our technical drawings, painstakingly sketching each tube and labelling everything by hand. The result is a throwback to a bygone era, and we couldn’t be happier. At Ray Tubes, we’re big believers in putting in the extra effort to create something that’s not just functional but beautiful and thoughtful. If our new technical drawings elicit an emotional response from the viewer, then all that work will have been worth it. If you’re interested in learning more about this philosophy, check out our blog (link in bio @raytubes.audio ) for a full account of how these technical drawings were made!

The fourth edition of @oslohifishow took place the weekend of 21st-22nd March, and Ray Tubes was there. With the help of our distributor Music2 and our Norwegian retail partner @sentrum_audio , a selection of our vacuum tubes was exhibited alongside products by @korahifi , @audionostrum , and @denafrips . A big thank you to Marco at Music2 for helping us co-ordinate this event! Oslo HiFi Show is a new event, but it’s already Norway’s biggest audio show and it’s only going to get better. If you’re in Norway and interested in our tubes, check out @sentrum_audio , or go to our website (link in bio @raytubes.audio ) for our full list of retail partners.

@montrealaudiofest 2026 was held over the weekend of March 20th-22nd and we’re proud to say it saw our biggest presence at a trade show so far. Montréal Audiofest is one of the largest audio shows in North America, and this year’s edition was as jam-packed as ever: Ray Tubes was one of almost 400 brands exhibited at the event. Showgoers were treated to a matched quad of our RESERVE EL34 vacuum tubes powering the Z40 integrated amp from @lineartubeaudio , with speakers by @pure_audio_project and cables by Silversmith Audio. Many thanks to our friends Jacob at LTA, Ze’ev at PureAudioProject, and Jeff at Silversmith - we had a blast sharing a room with you all. We like to say that our goal as a company is to support other audio brands in whatever ways we can, and events like this really drive home the truth of that philosophy. We couldn’t ask for better partners! Our congratulations to the organizers for another fantastic event. We can’t wait until next year - until then, if you had a chance to listen to our tubes at the event, let us know what you thought, or check out our website (link in bio @raytubes.audio ) for all the details and our full list of retail partners.

Issue 638 of South Korea’s @monthly_audio magazine continued its coverage of the @raytubes.audio RESERVE Collection with the RESERVE 300B. Monthly Audio is one of the leading audiophile publications in South Korea, and we’re extremely grateful to them for taking the time to evaluate our tubes. You can check out the full review (in Korean!) on their website, but we’ve got the highlights for you: the RESERVE 300B is “the most complete 300B currently available”, “a masterpiece”, and “a true reference 300B”. Needless to say, we’re over the moon about this review. The 300B is one of the most beloved tubes there is, and we spent a long time getting our take on it just right!
