In large thanks to Mother Nature, Anna and Greg had the most glorious wedding on Saturday! It started with a roof top first look followed by a courtyard ceremony and cocktail hour then inside where we turned down the lights and danced all night long. And word to the wise all you wedding crashers out there: know the name of the bride and groom before you think you’re gonna hit the open bar. I WILL find you. 😂 Congratulations Anna and Greg! It was a busy Saturday for us this past weekend! @lhag took the reins in coordinating a perfect wedding reception for Elise and Andy. It started with a second line through the heart of the French Quarter and ended at the Pharmacy Museum. All the lanterns, soft furniture, tons of delectable hors d’oeuvres and strumming of banjos were perfect parings to this springtime courtyard celebration. Some of the best things come in small packages, like this darling 45 person wedding celebration for Jamie and Darrell. We started with a courtyard first look, following a bountiful floral installation. Then we hosted a ceremony with guests getting a Birds Eye view of the nuptials from the historic courtyard balcony. Then we drank specialty house sour cocktails, enjoyed hors d’oeuvres and had the loveliest little dance party in the bar. Everything from the couple, to the blooms to the weather was pure perfection. Spring wedding season always sneaks in so softly… and then all at once, everything is blooming 🤍🌸
My days start filling up with color again. Bouquets spilling over with the brightest florals, soft light wrapping around my couples, laughter tucked into every corner of the day. And somehow, even in the middle of the busiest weekends, it all feels slow in the best way.
There’s a certain kind of magic this season holds… like everything is waking up, full of life and love and new beginnings. I find myself soaking it in a little deeper, holding onto the in-between moments just a little longer.
It’s my favorite kind of busy. The kind that fills my heart while it fills my calendar, and reminds me over and over again why I love what I do 🫶🏼
Before we jump into this weekends special events, let us show you one more from last weekend! We were privileged to really take the reins on Jackie and Mark’s second chance at love. We guided them through the entire weekend’s festivities from designing the menu for their welcome reception, creating their floor plan, selecting rentals and curating a floral and centerpiece design for the reception to hosting a catered farewell brunch in their stunning home. Kate and Eliot’s celebration unfolded at The Mazant, a beautiful Bywater home where their closest family and friends (and pup!) stayed on site. The day unfolded like an elevated house party, with rooms and gardens designed for exploring, a living room martini bar, an espresso martini fountain tucked away in the garden, fresh shucked oysters, and tables filled with the couple’s favorite guilty-pleasure snacks and desserts. Custom signage featuring their engagement photos added a personal touch throughout. The vibe felt elevated yet easy
The design story came together with lace moments, collected vintage silver pieces, moody greens, burgundy and brown tones, textured linens, and sculptural florals. Intimate, unfussy, and undeniably cool. More soon.

When Julie Vanderbrook, powerhouse behind Immaculate Conception Church, invites you to lunch, you simply must accept. We (@jenniekellerhilton and @bethsflowers ) were treated to an incredible lunch and round table with the @nopsihotel team and discussed weddings, special events, trends and more. Chef introduced us to some NOPSI favorites that included crabmeat topped deviled eggs, sliders, charcuterie with house made pickles and so much more, we walked off lunch with a tour of their event spaces and ridiculously large suites with balconies. DEFINITELY keep NOPSI in mind for room blocks, bridal and prep suites and an event venue. We certainly will.
