大河美術群展《Hippocampal Overflow》集結五位來自不同文化與世代背景的藝術家，共同提出一則當代時代診斷。「Hippocampal」源自海馬迴——這個人腦中連結記憶、情緒與空間感知，本該整合經驗，並在睡眠成夢重播日常，使記憶沉澱轉化的系統，如今正承受前所未有的壓力。過去一年，關稅貿易戰與地緣政治動盪，到 AI 經濟加速、社群媒體管制，以及去年末深刻撼動臺灣社會的攻擊事件，皆指向一種迫切而普遍的現實狀態。當海馬迴過載，現實與想像的界線逐漸模糊，潛意識外溢成我們荒誕的日常鏡像。藝術家透過亙古神話、童年意識、自然與語言等系統與形式，回應這種過剩現實。《Hippocampal Overflow》是一場集體神經反應，也是對記憶的修復行動。當「海馬迴過載」被反覆指認為時代病徵，我們邀請觀者從殘存片段中重組意義，創造新的神話。
Opening｜Folded Corners
RIVER ART GALLERY proudly opened its pop-up duo show “Folded Corners” last Saturday at River City Bangkok in Thailand. Canadian-Taiwanese artist Yi-Shuan Lee and Taiwanese artist Ray Han were both present at the opening, engaging in thoughtful conversations with viewers and revealing the subtle narratives embedded in their brushstrokes and material textures. Each moment of exchange felt like the unfolding of a folded page — offering glimpses into stories yet to be told. From the very first encounter, this show—bridging culture, memory, and perception — radiated a sense of warmth and meaning.
“Folded Corners” is on view through July 6. We warmly invite you to step into Bangkok and discover this midsummer reverie tucked within the city’s quiet corners — where every crease holds a hidden story.
RIVER ART GALLERY 策劃的雙人展《Folded Corners》，於上週六在泰國曼谷「 River City Bangkok 」盛大開幕！加拿大籍臺裔藝術家 Yi-Shuan Lee 與臺灣藝術家 Ray Han 不僅親臨現場與觀眾深入對話，也分享許多作品中潛藏於筆觸與肌理的創作密語。現場每一瞬交流激盪，都像是掀開折起的頁面，讓觀者得以窺見尚未訴說的篇章，也使這場橫跨文化、記憶與感知的展覽，於初見之際便充滿溫度與意義。
展覽即日起至 7 月 6 日，誠邀各位親身走入曼谷，在折痕之處，一窺這場城市角落中的仲夏夢境。
