🩵 Sometimes the most strategic thing you can do for your business is admit you’ve outgrown its name. That was the case with this project. “Vacay Vibes” had history, recognition, and personality. But as the business evolved, the brand direction started pulling somewhere more elevated, refined, and experience-driven. The old name no longer reflected the caliber of service, the dream client, or the future vision of the company.
So we renamed it: HOTE Travel ✈️ (French for host, with a subtle nod to haute.) And fun fact? HOTE was actually one of the very first names we suggested for them during the naming process. The second we said it out loud, we all kind of paused like… oh. That’s it.
Because a brand name isn’t just a title slapped on a logo. It sets the tone for how people perceive your business before they ever inquire, click, or buy.

👩🏽💻 Last October, we relaunched RawMade with a new brand and website that we were genuinely proud of. And then, I found out I needed surgery to determine if I had breast cancer. I was spared. I know I am one of the lucky ones and that changed something in me, both as a person and as a business owner. If my body was taking risks, why wasn’t I? Why was I playing it safe with my business and holding onto decisions that no longer served me, even six months in?
