Southern Italy for sure reserves incredible roads to be explored, it’s really worthy of a trip, especially when summer is coming to an end and you still wanna find warm weather and smooth pavements.

Throwback to Portugal’s Maryhill road 🪨 by far the most challenging road of the trip for me. It was the first day out filming and exploring roads, and we started with this fast and barely grippable road in the middle of nowhere; as I had trained primarily for freeride and didn’t put on big wheels for a while, I was very frightened from speed and lacked a lot of confidence. I did the first two runs conservatively and still caught a big crash almost hitting the leading car due to organizational problems. I was super bummed about my performance and felt so slow and sketchy that I ended up hiding myself to cry before filming my run, believing I couldn’t find out to make things work. A big hug and strong encouragement from @zeydsvd and @_zeni_marco_ made me realize the big chance I had to be in such a wonderful place and made me go for the run without expecting so much, other than enjoying the moment. Despite of my radio shutting off after the first corners I still put together a solid run that I watch nowadays as a reminder to not overthink and embrace what comes, that’s why I post it completely raw without cuts and music.

How does it feel to treat me like you do? ❤️🔥 This is one of my best runs ever of my life, a hidden gem in the mountains of Portugal, the pavement was super hot and I was running the slidyest wheels of @remembercollective the Hoots 82a. A huge standup ended in a big crash, digging a hole in my elbow, but we finished the run anyway sending it harder than before ❤️🔥 Huge shotouts to the @openroads_media friends who made this possible, to @lorenzo_p for filming and to @zeydsvd for the color grading.
