Our friends @46southfishco spoiled us this week with succulent oysters from Orongo Bay. These beautiful oysters have distinctly elongated shells with ruffled edges. When you bite into the plump meat you’ll taste creamy, sweet flavours with gentle hints of brine. Pair with a nice Cava or Muscadet or enjoy on their own!

The Star covering the star-studded event where we’re serving oysters & caviar!
“It wouldn’t ordinarily be unusual to have a party with actors Meryl Streep and Joaquin Phoenix, actor/director Taika Waititi, Cannes star Mati Diop and cinematographer Roger Deakins in attendance.
Not during the Toronto International Film Festival, when hundreds of celebrities flock to Toronto to make Hollywood North a visible reality.
This year is different, though. There’s a new party in town.
It’s the TIFF Tribute Gala, happening Monday at the Fairmont Royal York Hotel. If TIFF realizes its ambitions, this will become the party to beat all parties at a festival known almost as much for the grandness of its gatherings as for the quality of its films.
The gala is first and foremost a fundraiser to fuel the many enterprises of TIFF, a not-for-profit organization which has grown in its 44 years from an 11-day film festival into a year-round arts institution, including such initiatives as TIFF Writers Studio, TIFF Filmmakers Lab and TIFF Rising Stars.
With tickets going for $2,500 apiece and more than 500 people expected — pulling in north of $1.25 million in ticket sales alone — the financial aspects look promising.

Last night we served Soho House’s founding members at the renowned Integral House. The evening began with oysters and champagne as guests toured the 17,000-square-foot property. Later in the evening, guests we treated to a surprise performance by Dvsn. The beautiful and serene architecture was the perfect backdrop for @sohohousetoronto exclusive event.
TIFF starts tonight! We are super excited about all of the events, parties and galas we will be serving at this year. Stay tuned to see us at some of the festival’s most fabulous events.
