We invite you to join us in a special evening.
67 years ago, something wild and sublime called Butoh was born. We want to celebrate that with movement, performance and collectiveness.
We invite all Butoh dancers, practitioners, creatures, movers and Butoh lovers in Berlin (and beyond) to come and offer a piece — solos, duets, small groups, or pure improvisation.
No curation.
No judgement.
No pressure to be “good”.
Just raw presence, gratitude, and the living energy of Butoh.
This is a shared celebration: humans offering movement from the heart, and community coming together to witness and enjoy.

Many of us will be diving deep the day before during the SPACE · GRAVITY · RISK workshop. We are so excited to naturally flow into this birthday celebration.

Because capacity is limited, participation is only possible via registration.
Registration will remain open until May 21 at 23:59 or until all available spots are filled — whichever happens first.
We will prioritize witnesses invited by registered performers, but other witnesses are welcome.
