The City with No People (2026), Interactive video projection, Stereo sound installation. with @raw2.2 “A sailor’s solitude is never fully alone as the act of sailing is active and passive at the same time; you move through the world while letting it move through you.” This project explores the boundless condition of loneliness in a contemporary world shaped by mobility, digital presence, and urban instability. In this voyeuristic and nomadic era, alienation and disconnection are no longer exceptions but structural conditions. Our encounter with THE City becomes a space of disorientation and a hub of dissolved identities through its limitless instability; a virtual groundless perspective, an existential state of “free fall”. Digital existence mirrors this condition: contributing to the liquefaction of modern relationships and the normalization of urban alienation. In this placelessness, where binaries blur and roots loosen, hybridity feels like freedom. Suspended in flux, there is room for reinvention. Yet proximity is not the same as presence. Can this freedom ever offer grounding? What does it mean to be everywhere and nowhere at once, to long for belonging while constantly transforming? Is loneliness something we can resolve, or is it simply the condition of our time? Showcased @chelseaual and @nafafineart

⁠#NOWNESSExperiments NEW: ’It Girl’ presents the mind-body horror of pursuing beauty under the demand of constant self-improvement. Set between a white void and a dark hotel room, the film unfolds as hallucinatory voices instruct, persuade, and affirm the main character as she morphs into her idealised self—her digital twin. 🪺⁠ ⁠ ‘It Girl’ is created by artist Raw2.2 and theorist Alex Quicho.
