PLACENTA is a visual exploration of skin, texture, and lived experience. Rooted in the raw symbolism of birth and the often-hidden narratives of femininity, this editorial brings forward what is usually erased: acne, marks, and the real surface of the body. Transforming them into strength, beauty, and presence.
It exists as a response to the fashion industry’s imposed standards, which often distance models from their own reality in pursuit of unattainable perfection. By reclaiming the natural body in its honest state, PLACENTA reframes skin as a space of memory, identity, and truth. Not something to be corrected, but something to be seen.
