Way back in 1979/80 we the Gurus from Guru Nanak college Madras (Then) participated IIT Mardi gras the annual cultural festival. It was a 4 day event...that showcases a wide range of cultural events including Music,dance,theater, art as well as professional shows featuring renowned artists.
I won the best singer award in the light music competition.
Now it's called Saarang.
