***premier announcement!! ✨
Hii! My name is Raven and I am a Gitxsan/Mushkegewok (swampy Cree) Indigiqueer artist residing in Salish territory. I am an emerging choreographer, dancer, Indipop artist, and visual artist in formline design, working with Indigenizing and upcycling fast fashion brands, printmaking, and collaborative jewelry work.
I have an exciting announcement! My first production, its first iteration known as Wolverine, will premier at @thecultch as part of their 2027/2028 season! It will be a companion piece of an Indigenous music night, and is choreographed to my first EP. Ya girl’s been dancing and performing since she was 6, and I’m overwhelmed with the ongoing support on this project!Ty to everyone who’s helped along the way and to all the amazing collaborators.
Catch the next performance, for slow fashion show mid March @moa_ubc as one of the designers! The look will be choreographed by Raven, and there will be a vocal performance of my new track! Stay tuned for further details ❤️🔥

We couldn’t be more proud to witness Ravens ongoing growth and development as a multi-disciplinary artist, and her collaborations with others. We are especially honoured to nurture and support her choreographic ideas and performance inspiration for ‘Wolverine’, across many iterations. Swampy Salish and Swampy Cree Sunday activities
@ravengrenier already heard the frogs croaking last Saturday in Gibsons 🐸 (that’s so early 🤯)
Tem Welhx̱s Means “Time of the Frogs” or “Time when the Frogs come out Hibernation” in Sníchim 🪷🐸🌼
If we made it again we’d add Muskeg tea somehow and incorporate jelly to get the texture extra swampy. Also letting the Mimnts’ integrate more into the flavour.
Hemlock felt important to use because this time of year our people would be/are prepping the hemlock boughs in time for the Oolichan runs.
Forage responsibly, also if you’re a settler consider working with invasive species instead.
