And last night I had both the absolute privilege of moderating the opening night film, #Wolfram, from one of this country’s boldest voices - Warwick Thornton - and talking to the absolute gem of a human that is Deborah Mailman. It happened. I was in the presence of THEE Michelle Pfeiffer. Those that know me know how monumental this is for me. One of my earliest film memories is seeing #BatmanReturns at age 7 and being utterly transfixed by her performance. From then - call it inspiration, possession, determination, whatever - it was necessary for me to see her films. So, supported by my mum @deb_g_pics who nurtured my love of film, I saw incredible pieces of art like #TheFabulousBakerBoys, #FrankieAndJohnny, and #TheWitchesOfEastwick. All at too young an age, I’m sure, but I’ve always watched films in a different capacity, and I truly believe I wouldn’t be where I am today, with the experiences I’ve had, if it wasn’t for that. All of this is to say, @michellepfeifferofficial is the reason I started watching movies in a serious capacity, and now to be here, in her eye line with the equally incomparable Elle Fanning (@ellefanning ) talking about this incredible show, #MargosGotMoneyTroubles, is truly a moment I will remember. I would say I can’t believe my luck, but I have earned my spot to be taking to the greats. Thank you @appletv , @organic.anz and @organichq for this incredible opportunity.
