I started RastaRant because I wanted more for my family and my future. After going vegan in 2017, I began cooking plant-based Caribbean meals for friends and family and they loved it.
In 2020 I took a leap of faith and started cooking from home. Fast forward 6 years… now my husband and I are serving our food at festivals and events and feeding our community.
This isn’t just a business.
It’s legacy. ❤️💛💚

Six years ago we took a leap of faith and opened a Vegan Jamaican restaurant 🌠….
….with more vision than certainty. There were long nights, setbacks, sacrifices, self doubt, lessons, and moments where only faith kept us moving forward.
Fast forward to today and we’re walking into rooms we once only talked about in private conversations. Rooms we prayed for. Rooms we worked for. Rooms that once felt impossible.
This journey was never just about food. It was about legacy, culture, purpose, and showing people what’s possible when passion meets persistence.
