뒤돌아보니 어느새 어른이 되어 있었다.
하지만 삶 앞에서 느끼는 두려움은 여전히 사라지지 않았고,
어린 시절처럼 위로와 보호를 바라는 마음은 남아 있다.
이 작품은 애착 인형을 들고 있는 어른의 모습을 통해
성숙과 미숙, 강인함과 연약함이 동시에 존재하는
인간의 이중적 감정과 정체성을 드러낸다.
누군가의 시선 속에 단단한 어른으로 서 있지만,
그 안에는 여전히 상처받기 쉬운 아이가 머물러 있다.
이 작품은 그런 모든 여리고 솔직한 존재들을 위한 자화상이다.

When I looked back, I realized I had already become an adult.
Yet facing life still feels daunting, and a part of me continues to long
for comfort, reassurance, and protection—just as I did when I was young.
This work reveals the duality of being human:
maturity and innocence, strength and vulnerability.
Through the image of an adult holding a cherished childhood toy,
it captures the coexistence of what has grown and what still remains tender within us.
We stand in the world appearing strong and composed,
but inside, a fragile child still waits quietly to be held.
This piece is a portrait—and a reminder—for all who carry that tender truth within themselves.
