my video 1 final !! this project is what happens when u have an identity crisis over the summer and stop making art until u get back to school. i’m still figuring out where my art will take me after this past summer. video work is new for me, and i haven’t done spoken word for a long time so this is pretty out of my comfort zone. this is the 3rd thing i’ve ever filmed and edited, and i’ve learned more about editing and filming since (so be nice ok).

this was one of my final projects of my first year in art school :) i had a lot of fun making it and im very proud of how it turned out !! its charcoal on transparent vellum on top of paper and chalk pastel.

btw for anyone who noticed or cares, i have not posted in 2 months. i had 2 deaths in my family in may and then i just kinda… stopped drawing as much. and stopped wanting to be online. the projects i was (and am still) working on got put on hold, and i’ve decided to only work on one at a time. i can’t share too much abt the one i’m doing now without spoiling it ;) also, i’ll be starting art school in september !! i have no clue how that’s gonna effect what i do/don’t post on here but i’m excited to find out :) anyway, thanks for reading my little update <3 i hope u have a lovely day
