Pink Lane Gateway, suspended public art installation across two zones of Newcastle's historic Pink Lane, to mark the entrance to one of the city's most characterful streets.
The work comprises multiple runs of IFR-rated fabric sleeves, each housing continuous LED lighting elements and suspended between building facades at height. During the day, the pink and orange fabric catches the light against the Victorian brickwork, drawing the eye upward and activating the pedestrian route. After dark, the illuminated sleeves transform the lane entirely casting a warm, saturated glow across the cobbled streets below. Each zone engineered to suit its specific structural context.
Big thanks to @newcastlene1@newcastlecouncil

Exploring the cultural legacy of the Blitz club and its impact on 1980s music, fashion, art + design.
Working closely with PLAID and the Design Museum exhibition team, we translated the exhibition design into a crafted spatial environment delivering custom vitrines, showcases, walls and plinths in a bold curated colour palette inspired by the era.
A build designed to support the narrative, guide visitors through the space, and keep the objects firmly in focus.

Our good friends at @cookhouse_anna have opened a new bar just along the road from our studio.
We worked closely with @wren.bar and @floc.studio to shape a space defined by warmth and material clarity. Iroko cladding lines the walls, with iroko and rattan grid panels introducing rhythm and texture, referencing the work of Marcel Breuer.
Custom designed seating booths, a stainless steel bar top, and carefully integrated signage complete the interior.
A really nice way to finish the year, see you at the bar.

Dirty Looks, partnering with @barbicancentre and @studiodennisvanderbroeck to bring this latest exhibition to life. Featuring some of the biggest names in fashion, Dirty Looks explores how dirt and decay have been used to challenge and redefine traditional beauty standards. Taking this premise as our foundation, we crafted custom finishes across all setworks throughout the gallery, with each room on the upper level becoming progressively more decayed and grimier as visitors move through the space mirroring the evolution of the artwork itself. We also produced bespoke metal hanging rails that run throughout the gallery, and set the backdrop on the ground floor using natural canvas material to anchor the exhibition.
Gritty, tactile, unapologetic.
