Rick Rubin, who was the producer behind this legendary record, revealed that Chris Rock actually gave him the idea to flip Ice-T's 1993 "99 Problems" hook. Rubin hadn't produced rap in years before Jay called him for The Black Album and the production of this Grammy winning record.
