~Senior Spotlight~
Our final senior is Tyler Mueller! Tyler is the team captain this year, and he has been the programming sub-team captain for all 3 of his years on the team. He is well known and him, Ashwini, and Emma have all been friends from before robotics! Tyler goes above and beyond for robotics, spending hours after meetings writing vision code. He’s been a pivitol part of our team’s success, being a technician for the past 2 years and is our driver this year. He goes to every outreach event he can (Tylina even goes to the women in stem ones). Although he slams into walls full force and racks up pentalty points playing defense, he still cooks with full force and a helping hand. After graduation Tyler plans to go to the Air Force Academy.
~Senior Spotlight~
Our next senior is Emma Kinyon! This lad doesn’t even joke about robotics. Emma has been on the team for 4 years and is indispensable. She truly has a gift for public speaking and can be seen presenting slideshows at almost any outreach event! Emma is such a chill person and is always up to do something fun, she is a great leader and helps out a ton with the rookie members. Emma has been the Impact team lead for 3 years and is leading others to fill her spot when she graduates. Emma is always a great example of leadership and gracious professionalism and is a beloved member on our team! After graduation Emma is planning to go to the Naval Academy or Massachusetts Institute of Technology.

The next senior is Ashwini Paudel! Ashi has been with our team from the beginning of high school and has been a monumental help. Ashi is always seen at outreach events talking to younger students and teaching kids. Dubbed as the “team mom” Ashi is always leading, helping out other teammates when they need it, and reminding them to take deodorant on the trips 15 times. She has been media lead for 2 years now and has been on the chairman’s team 2 years too. Ashi has left such big “impact” and will be missed. Following graduation Ashi plans to go to the University of Nebraska Lincoln to purse a degree in mechanical engineering.

Our next senior is Seth Waldie! Seth has been on our team for all four years of high school. He’s been on the mechanical team since freshman year and this year has stepped into the role of mechanical lead and is now known as “Supreme Leader Seth”. From sharing random train facts to helping repair the robot in the pits, Seth is always present at robotics and ready to do a job (except for match scouting)! Seth knows his way around and is always willing to take time to teach a younger member something. After graduation Seth is planning to go SDSU to pursue a degree in architecture and get a job at Disney Imagineering.

Our second senior is Emily Stark! She has been on the team two years and is this year’s one and only “LEBRON!!” She is a master cricketer and loves helping out in mechanical. Emily has done so much for our team this year and always leads with a kind heart, unless you end up on her list, then you might want to not go near any stairs for a while. Emily is a wonderful leader and she always there if something is broken to fix it with her ICONIC rainbow zip ties. She is such an amazing person and we all wish the best for her when she graduates. Emily is planning to go to Black Hills State University to get a degree in elementary school education and major in music.

With worlds coming up it’s time for senior spotlight! The first senior is Riley Thompson! Riley is up to do anything from CAD to building, he’s always ready to lend a helping hand to anyone. With his great sense of humor, he’s always a good person to talk to at robotics. If you want a good laugh Rileys the one to go to! He loves the Sonic soundtrack and Halo, he is currently 3d printing an awesome master chief suit. Riley has been on our team two years now and is currently planning to go into the South Dakota School of Mines & Technology to pursue a mechanical engineering degree.

Denver dump! We got 9th individually and made it to 3rd in playoffs as the captain of alliance 6! HUGE thank you to @teamelevation10333 and @tecdroid3354 for being absolutely amazing alliance partners, and absolutely cooking through playoffs! It was an unfortunate end, but we played our hardest throughout and we can't be more proud of our team members!
