It felt surreal at our Modern Contemporary Dance class today with the brilliant @thesaadsheikh as our mentor.
I have been quite regular at @thecolonylahore as part of their musical theatre mentorship program.
Learning acting and dance has always been a dream but finding a community of people who believe in the arts is the biggest offering in this whole experience.

Islamabad, my city of birth always puts me in a serene trance of sorts. While my lungs slowly decongest from Lahore’s smog my mind starts to contemplate and replan on life.
I can’t diminish the fact that hanging with my favourite cousins also is a revitalising factor. Sometime spending time with loved ones is better than therapy.
I realise now that loneliness touches all of us, in one way or another—and perhaps that is why this city always finds a way to keep me longer than I ever intend.

I wanted to share a lot more details about Soundscape 2025 but it was a wholesome learning experience organised at @confessions_britishcouncillib by @natashaoninsta as chief curator and other organisers as well like @almitra_m@zahraparacha_ and @shahmir__hashmi among many others.
We particularly enjoyed performances ny @uzairjaswalofficial and @saakin.music among many others.
I had my talk about the @saffronrecords music mentorship program along with @mahnooorshahh which was lead by @sofa_sofa_uk This platform helps under represented groups in music worldwide with technical, educational, artistic and l business acumen that is needed to be a healthy part of the music industry.
Saffron members I got to meet in Karachi this year were @shanzay.subzwari@athenasings_@misamisa.wav@fraujasta We missed @billiegeorge_ who we had in Karachi in 2023 so we wrote her a lovely card from the Saffron Pakistan Team.
Overall this was a lovely experience, I would suggest music nerds and enthusiasts to keep following @britishcouncilpakistan to stay tuned for any future Soundscape events.
It really restores my faith as a music artist to be a part of an amazing and meticulously curated event like this.
