Set and costume designer @raphaememon tells us more about the overall aesthetic for BLUE/ORANGE, and how we struck the balance between the realism of creating an NHS waiting room, and a conceptual design where colours seep into the design. The set is currently installed and looking amazing, but we don't want to spoil it just yet – you'll have to book a ticket to see it in person!

MINUTES16 RED and MINUTES17 RED Couldn't be more excited to showcase these pieces from @raphaememon at Cobalto. Balancing between kinetic sculpture and functional design, these handmade clocks were created exclusively for Cobalto, drawing inspiration from the blue and red palette. The timepieces originated from MINUTES IN BLUE, a London exhibition in Summer 2024 that explored time, temporality, and wonder, reflecting on cyclical life and our connection to movement, space, and the Earth. About the artist: Raphaé Memon is a London-based stage designer and architect, working across opera, dance, theatre, exhibitions, and sculptural installations.
