Hardly any ✈️ yesterday 👌🙏 A lovely and healing day out in nature playing this 1st concert of the year at Roots&Remedies! Thanks to @seamus.cater for his beautiful solo set, everyone who helped out and to the audience that came despite rain forecast ( In the end we had none!✨🙏 ) We do this to heal ourselves with nature and the music that matters to us. Onto the next editions, we get better and will do this again and again - with a little help from our friends. One should have an office in the green every day 🙂 Love pale blue dot 🌍❤️ no need for Mars🤌

GUITAR FOREST Huh?? New project and installation with 10-14 guitars acoustic and electric guitars played by me 🐙 and the wind 💨🌬️ And now? HELP I need a bigger music studio in Amsterdam or elsewhere in NL for research and composing. Had a wonderfull time past thursday with Tú Hoàng @2_hoang_ during @festivalwhynot at @bimhuis This was the first time we met with our art - thanks for the invitation and thanks all other artists, nice to meet you all. It was hemelvaart / Ascension day… We had our very own.

Announcing the release of RAPHAEL VANOLI Music for Berend Strik’s EVERY(WO)MAN Nine years ago, I composed music for artist Berend Strik’s music theatre play EVERY(WO)MAN, which he created with designer Aziz Bekkaoui. I am grateful for the fantastic musicians and sound engineers who brought my ideas to life. The music was received so well during the shows in October 2016 that I decided to ask Carlos Dalla Fiore to multitrack the final performance. Afterwards, we recorded overdubs, and Sandor Caron and I took all the time needed to produce this album—a process of slow cooking. Sandor mixed and mastered it. Though this music was made for theatre, it stands on its own, and I am super happy with the result! EVERY(WO)MAN will soon be released on selected streaming services and my Bandcamp (follow the link in bio). Thanks and greetings, Raphael Background: Commissioned by Kunst in het Stationsgebied, visual artist Berend Strik developed an art project in the heart of the Hoog Catherijne shopping centre in Utrecht, the oldest shopping mall in the Netherlands. In collaboration with Aziz Bekkaoui, a workshop was set up for two months where art and social encounters were central. A pop-up theatre venue was built in the back of the shop. The collaboration resulted in a music theatre performance about Everywoman: a woman who says goodbye to her shop and wants to contribute to a better world, for which Raphael Vanoli composed the music.

Small parrot-love-flashback after 5 years 🫶 When working long days from home and doing my tax declaration like today, I miss parrot Obi Vanoli. 
 It was heaven, and sometimes hell when she flew away 3 times. A too selfish decision to adopt her without papers, no way to get these later.

i am happy she now lives with a family of humans and learns to speak Turkish in Amsterdam :) 

The pandemic was adventurous, fun and many musical improvisations unpredictable, hilarious, loud and often in the same key (!) I could write a book… love you little Obi girl
