Raphael Bertazi is a music producer and sound artist who seeks to shift meanings by reorganizing sound, image, and context.
His practice centers on the attempt to bring together things that normally appear separated, placing them side-by-side to reveal previously hidden, shared structures.
His process often begins by decontextualizing the familiar. By removing an object or sound from its original environment, he generates a sense of instability, a state where the subject remains recognizable but can no longer be understood in the same way.
