EDICIUS is a stark, experimental short film that attempts to delve into the unspoken depths of trauma, isolation, and self-doubt. The bleak exploration of male vulnerability, confronting the often-taboo subjects of suicide, sexual abuse, and profound loneliness. Through imagery and a non-linear structure, the film tries to paint an intimate portrait of a man trapped in the aftermath of violence—both physical and emotional. This film in no way tries to present suicide as a cathartic experience but only tries to portray a span of few days which represent the years he had spent hiding his pain turning towards a deep dark way out.
