13 Tunes, 13 Days of Nowruz 🌸 This year we invited our good friend @keimanm , the founder of the "Taraneh-haye Nowruzi" Telegram channel to select 13 of his favourite Nowruz songs for us to share with you. “Taraneh-haye Nowruzi” (or, the Songs of Nowruz) began its activity in Esfand 1398 (March 2020), at a time when the COVID-19 pandemic had made borders feel more pronounced than ever. Turning to the beautiful and powerful tradition of Nowruz, even then, felt like a form of healing, a remedy against the growing difficulties of the time. Six years on, this journey continues. To date, they have discovered and documented over 250 Nowruz songs. While some of these works are familiar to many Iranians, others have, for the first time, been digitized and shared online by this channel.
