2025 has been a year exceptionally full of music for us. Before moving forward, let’s take a moment to look back.
One of the highlights for me was returning to Budapest on August 21 for a homecoming concert, celebrating fifty years longing for freedom on the stage of my birthland.
Fifty years ago, on August 21, 1975, I fled Hungary through a tunnel with my friends in search for freedom.
That marked the start of a new chapter of my musical journey that would take me from those early days in Budapest all the way to the American Rock & Roll Hall of Fame.
We marked this anniversary with a large open-air concert in Budapest, streamed worldwide, performing 50 Years – Longing for Freedom.
It was a moment to reflect on the past five decades:
my dreams,
my goals,
and all that moments I have been fortunate to share.
I remain deeply grateful for the opportunities it has been given to me.
Making the evening even more special, we celebrated a Gold Award for our latest album „A Memory Of Our Future“, right where it all began.
