So thankful to be a part of this amazing tour. I already have such great stories to share with you. A big hug and thank you to my @groovelinehorns brothers for trusting me and @rogergarcia78 to hold things down.
It was my first time going with Randy to one of his gigs. This wasnāt just any gig though. It was a very special wedding for a beautiful couple.ā¤ļø
And after witnessing firsthand what all he does for events like this, I have a new appreciation for what he does because it is a LOT.š¤Æ
From loading in setting up three PA systems in 3 separate areas, then immediately switching gears to performance mode and playing ceremony music + sax, dinner music + MCāing, then reception DJāing + sax. It was really pretty freaking mind-blowing to be honest. And then you have to tear it all down! Talk about a full day (I felt hungover the next day and I donāt even drink), but if you are in the entertainment business you get it. And he does this multiple times a month!
So many moving parts, and being flexible when you need to switch gears at the last minute, and he handles it with so much ease. Thatās why heās the professional at his craft.š«¶
I was just there more as his emotional support person, but would love to do more events with him where Iām actually useful. š¤ŖMaybe Iāll learn to wrap up cords the right way one day to his liking, but thatās doubtful. š¤£
It was the perfect new yearās day and canāt wait to do it again!ā¤ļø
Congrats @claudine.said and @chefaustinsimmons it was a JOY witnessing your special day.

Happy Anniversary number 19 to my beautiful bride Emily Corn Allison. I still canāt figure out how I was able to land such a wonderful woman who is just as beautiful on the inside. Everyday my cup runs over and I thank God for the life He gave us together.
Mama Dodie was one of the kindest, most compassionate people I have ever known. I used to work in the office at Lakewood Church and when she heard that Emily and I had planned to get married at the courthouse, she was not having it! She told me that my beautiful bride to be deserved so much more than that! She pulled a team together to plan a wedding for us that was held at Lakewood Church, and closed the offices for a few hours so the staff and family could attend. She even performed the wedding ceremony! She will forever have a special place in our hearts.
