Four Shows, ONE Champion!
Our first Road to ONE tournament in the 135lb division was an outstanding display of skill, heart, respect and emotion. The FINAL between Sean Climaco and Malcolm Hill did not disappoint with both fighters leaving it all in the ring to capture their ultimate dream.
Sean Climaco would go on to win the Multifight Contract with One Championship and the 135lb WCMT National Title.
Stay tuned for announcements on future Road to ONE tournaments.

Battle in the Basement was founded in 2021 by Chris Kwiatkowski, a former WCMA Pro Welterweight Champion and now head Muay Thai coach at Church Street Gym.
The pre-show is dedicated to smoker bouts, controlled exhibition fights designed with safety in mind. It gives Muay Thai enthusiasts the opportunity to step in, test themselves, and decide if this is something they truly want to pursue. No records, no pressure — just experience.
Over time, the show evolved into a true bridge event. The main card now serves as the amateur stage, where every fight counts and every result goes on a fighter’s record.
Twenty shows deep, Battle in the Basement continues to be the best place for fighters to begin their journey.

Behind the scenes, he’s helped guide two of New York’s most recognized Muay Thai fighters into their professional careers — building them up long before the spotlight ever hit.
Now, at Battle in the Basement 20, he steps into a new role.
After years in the game, Brandon Levi makes his commentary debut as he joins fellow Muay Thai legendary Liam Tarrant ringside to call the action.
