What a lovely place to experience for the first time ever. This place is such a staple to Los Angeles, but wandering around taking in everything for the first time made for such a wonderful day. The carefully curated tea gardens, flora and fauna, to the insanely pretty architecture, hidden historical art and rare gems inside the library….couldn’t get enough 😍
Also me at the very end completely ignoring the ginormous main exhibit piece in the room just to look at that cool shaft of light 🤣

The amazing Donatella @curlsoneonone absolutely SLAYED giving my curls the best healthy trim, shape, and scalp care treatment they have ever seen. She was also very sweet and patient as she was also teaching me new and oh so good curl care techniques that I never knew 🥹 (hehe). I can’t tell you how much this space feels so welcoming. Hands down, every person that shows up always has such good pure energy, feeling the rhythm collectively with no beef and no drama, just good vibes. There’s not been one venue of such a community that has felt like home so thanks again Jungle Hollywood for keepin it real ✨

It me, mover of heavy metals and big shiny objects 😝 Have been recently working on what I would consider a very creatively freeing, beautifully queer 🌈 and accepting project on all fronts with some of the best people around and it’s been so satisfying. Have had such open energy every day to brainstorm on new set ups and the chance to experiment with some wild rigging ideas too, which in the end, turned out well! I am beyond grateful for my amazing grip and camera team for helping this particular rig come to life, thank you guys! Happy Father’s Day to my amazing dad/grandpa. An extremely intelligent and creative architect/carpenter/engineer who throughout my life taught me and to this day still teaches me to embrace the challenges of the hard work in life, getting your hands dirty and doing it yourself. To teaching me how to play ball as a kid, ride a bike, help remodel and not be afraid of learning how to use “the big scary tools” 🤣, and to embrace our silly nerd selves. This is also the man who I would sit down with at the TV and watch black and white spaghetti westerns, technicolor masterpieces, film noirs, and infinite scifi, dissecting them all together with curiosity and asking questions along the way. Which in turn, helped to spawn a deeply passionate flame for what I do to this day. Thanks so much for being such an amazingly creative force in my life and for being there every step of the way. Love you to the moon and back!!!❤️🌱✨🔧⚙️💪🏼✨
