In Rollie, your goal is to earn the most money, but of course there's a catch. If the dice do not match, you have a choice to bank your money or pick up a bill matching a number that was rolled. If the numbers match, you may bust If you have money matches the number rolled and you did not bank or "wallet" your money.
The matching doubles rule and the combination of potential bonus points for most of each type of bill drives players to choose certain numbers carefully and does not have all players choosing the highest bills for a hopeful bonus pay off. I really enjoyed these combination of rules that creates different choices each round and adds to more push your luck mechanics.
I also want to draw attention not only to the components of the game but also the box design. Paper money in board games have been less common lately, but I think it adds to theme within this game and also a fun way to hide the total of each bill set.
In addition, we need to talk about the flap in the game box (last picture). It's such a small addition, but helps keep everything in place so well. I hope to see more flaps in game boxes soon. This helps so much when placing games on shelves or throwing a small box game in a purse/bag to keep components in place.
