If you ask me what the #1 highlight of my recent trip to Japan was, it wasn’t the superb dishes, or the golden temples, or even beautiful landscapes — it was a moment.
On the next slides, you’ll see the very first photo I ever took when I arrived in Tokyo back in 2016. A simple shot, nothing extraordinary at the time. Just a gentleman at his newspaper stand, part of the rhythm of a city that never stands still.
Fast forward nearly a decade and there he was again. Unexpectedly. The same man, the same stand. Maybe a little older, a little slower—but almost untouched by time.
I said Hello, used Translate to say what my heart wanted to say. An interaction transcending time and language barriers.
I guess I’m a sucker for nostalgia. Eh.. what can you do? :)
The heart stays. ✍🏼🤍
