New Year. New RANCH.
Everyone chooses January to reinvent themselves... and weāre no different.
Over the past few months, weāve been quietly working on a refreshed RANCH: not a reinvention, but an
evolution. A more elevated brand with smarter systems and expanded services, but the same core values.
Weāll be sharing more on whatās changing very soon, so consider this your early heads-up š
If you asked us how to improve your socials, this is the weekly structure our Head of Social Media (Dawn) would give you to post consistently and with purpose š
Mon: Data check! š±
What do the cold hard stats say? (My least favourite, but itās SO important).
Not just views, Iām looking at saves, shares, watch time and what content drove action (clicks, saves, shares, comments etc). This is how you stop guessing, stop relying on what you like and dislike and start making informed decisions.
Tues: Content planning āļø
Planning ahead means better content, it really does! Giving yourself the time to brainstorm, reflect and plan means you can start working towards a strategy that fits into your wider marketing work. We need to think about strong hooks, clear messaging, eye catching creative and content that aligns with your brand (not just posting for the sake of it).
Weds: Community > content āļø
Replying to comments, DMs, engaging with your audience, this is where brands are built. Social media isnāt a broadcast channel, itās a conversation... itās social!
Thurs: Trend spotting š
Audios, formats, competitor activity, whatās rising, whatās oversaturated, and whatās actually worth jumping on (not every trend is worth the time). Donāt forget to have fun with it, if you and your team are enjoying a trend your audience probably are too.
Fri: Review + reset š§
What worked? What didnāt? What are we doing next week? You will eventually need a longer term strategy, but refining your strategy weekly is what keeps you relevant.
Social media is a full-time job!
