🎈SHORT TERM:
•Initiative is launched, matching local business to spaces
•Empty shops working group established
•Commercial agents and landlords engaged 🎭 MEDIUM TERM:
•Sourcing funding & meanwhile use space
•Develop cultural programming and events strategy
•Develop organisational structure for delivery
🔮 LONG TERM:
•Explore community ownership: safeguarding spaces for long-term community benefit
•Use legal and regulatory levers to bring spaces into community hands
Ramsgate Space is starting 2025 with a brand glow up, thanks to the incredibly talented @jodieellena .
Our new logo is inspired by the Ramsgate Tunnels stairs, which encapsulate Ramsgate's regenerative, creative community. Stairs are building blocks, a means to progress, and a connection between places; perfectly reflecting the ambitions of this project.
Our striking new colour palette is a blend of Ramsgate's coastal charm and artistic heritage.
Very excited for the possibilities that lie in the year ahead. Lots more to come next week!

Your Life is the greatest Story Ever Told.
Everyone of us is walking around with a library of stories inside - some are filled with laughter, others with grit, and a few with lessons we’re still unravelling.
For week 3 of The Happiness Project, we’re looking at Sharing Stories.
Led by writer, performer and composer Tom Adams - this isn’t just a workshop. It’s a creative sanctuary for adults to take those ‘remember when’ moments and turn them into something powerful. Whether it’s a grand adventure or a quiet insight gained over a jam doughnut, your perspective matters.
What to expect:
Reflective exercises- gently look back at the milestones and ‘plot twists’ that shaped you.
Creative Guidance - learn how to structure your experiences into a narrative that resonates
A supportive space - connect with others in a shared moment of listening and growth.
You don’t need to be a writer to join us. You just need to be you. Let’s celebrate the messy, beautiful and authentic moments of your life together.
