Last weekend for our two current exhibitions: Aleksander Jæger & Ingeborg Elieson has collaborated on an installation of works made of rubber and carved stone. In room 2 Ingrid Aarvik Berge presents a series of textile works in the artist’s characteristic collage technique, which she describes as a form of intarsia. The exhibitions run until Saturday 9 of May.

💬 Seven of Konrad Mehus' artworks in the series Kulefanger (2025) are now part of the City of Oslo Art Collection 🎯 These artworks consist of, among other things, iron tin, brass and copper, and were acquired from the exhibition Time flies (22.01- 21.02.2026) at RAM gallery. Konrad Mehus, Kulefanger nr. 24, nr. 25, nr. 28, nr. 31, nr. 32, nr. 33 og nr. 34 (2025) © Konrad Mehus / BONO 📸 PAH foto/ RAM Galleri #oslokommuneskunstsamling #konradmehus #ramgalleri @konradmehus @ramgalleri @kulturetaten

We are excited to announce a substantial acquisition of works by Konrad Mehus for the Oslo City Art Collection. Jewelry artist Mehus (b. 1941) had a significant and partly retrospective exhibition in RAM last month, which was hugely successful with the audience, critics, and collectors. Although RAM is a non-profit institution, we actively engage in the art market and place works of art in important public and private collections. Photo: PAH foto/RAM galleri.

It is with great sadness that we received the news that ceramic artist Helen Hausland has passed away. Hausland was last shown at Ram Galleri in the group exhibition Zea Mays in 2022. Two of her works were sold through RAM Galleri and are now permanently placed at the activity centre of Lillesand Municipality. Our thoughts are with her family and loved ones. We are proud to announce another important museum acquisition from the exhibition Time Flies, by jewelry artist Konrad Mehus. Three works from 1995, entitled Anabolic Championship (Anabolt mesterskap (Gold, Silver & Bronse), will enter the collections of KODE Art Museums in Bergen. The works comment on several scandals involving the use of steroids by Olympic athletes.

Wr are delighted to announce that the Norwegian National Museum of Art has acquired several important pieces from our current exhibition with the legendary jewelry artist Konrad Mehus. Born in 1941, Mehus initiated his career as a goldsmith, but developed his practice towards art jewelry, working primarily with silver and scrap metal from tin cans. His works are often characterized by a rebellious spirit and dark humor.
