🇬🇷 The Beekeeper is 2K restoration and part of the @icalondon complete retrospective on Greek auteur Theo Angelopoulos “A Moving Image of Eternity: The Cinema of Theo Angelopoulos” (23/10 -> 30/11).
🍇 An elegiac film about growing old and inner solitude. It’s a film for anyone who’s ever felt loneliness or may someday grow old. For such souls, The Beekeeper is a potent solipsistic prophylactic, being administered intra-optically, this Thursday at 6:30PM at Ica.

Thrilled to reveal that Fervour has been selected by @littlevenicefilmfestival - institutional recognition for the London New Wave - we love to see it! The festival will be in April next year.
As some of you may know i now work as technical manager for @opencitydocs - some people are calling it “the best film festival in London” ! - if you swipe thru this carousel you will see my personal recommendations from the programme - some of them very rare opportunities to see things only available on 16mm. Diary 2024 is here - click the link in my bio to watch it now - or better yet watch it on a computer. It’s now been 12 years of Diary, my essayistic video montage of moments and reflections. This year I spent a lot of time returning to the work of the 20th century avant-garde filmmakers whose work first inspired the Diary series back in 2013, and this, along with other films I made this year, inspired a shift in style (exciting!). Thank you to @egk.ing for the conversation which provides the fragmentary soundtrack and thanks to all my friends, many of whom appear briefly in the film. A happy new year to all x x
Poster for my new short film FERVOUR - it’s about politics, desire and that deep feeling in our souls that yearns to live in a better world. Grateful to have worked with the brilliant @shivani_alice and @freddie_smith__ - when will you be able to see it? At festivals next year hopefully, and/or I’ll organise an event.
