Thank you
@the.hsunami for supporting my dreams not just in words but in action - being my co-teacher for
@sarahhoviolinstudio music class, working and going to grad school full-time so that we can have health insurance, and letting me quit my full-time hospital job so I can have more time to write and make music. It was a big lifestyle change for both of us and we had to let go of some financial goals, but I regret nothing and I'm so comforted that you're on the same page. Thank you for all our precious moments just this weekend - serenading me slightly off-key with "You Were Meant For Me" by Jewel, showing me music I never listened to before but everyone else knows like "Legend of Zelda," biking with me, letting the wind run through our hair as we blinked into the afternoon sun on the quiet streets of our neighborhood, being excited to go to church together, asking me to watch South Park with you after a tiring Saturday and accidentally watching three episodes (I never liked South Park before but now I can't wait to see what they cook up based on the weird reality we live in), drawing the cutest little pictures for me of my favorite animals, of us, reading together at night, and making me your forever date. Thank you for reminding me I'm pretty even when I don't feel that way. I'm sorry I have the memory of a goldfish. I'm sorry I forget as soon as you have to do something for yourself that you do so much for me. Writing it all out really makes it obvious; you give and give of yourself, simply because you love me. I shan't take it for granted. This is why I write: to remember. I'm so lucky to do life with you.
P.S. I'll try to get better at cooking for both our sakes so we're not gagging at the end of every dinner 🙃
Thank you to our videographer
@ralphg_ for literally taking thousands of bonus photos of us during our wedding on his phone and keeping them there for over a year because we keep forgetting to get them via airdrop every time we meet up 😅 glad we finally got them this time!
