Upgraded from the RS2 to the RS5… and yeah, I should’ve done this sooner.
The quick-open tripod? Still feels like magic every time. I keep trying to open the legs manually like the old days only to realize it’s already set 😅
Battery grip feels solid too—especially in this heat. No more peeling issues.
The electronic briefcase handle is a big win. Low-angle shots without stressing my back, plus I can control recording + gimbal movement straight from it. That’s a serious workflow upgrade.
Still figuring out the intelligent tracking module (it drifts a bit), but overall… this one is a solid YES.
