did it! 1st time on @bbc1xtra from london 📌
saturday afternoon & the breakfast show!
had a great time meeting new faces, catching up with others i haven’t got to see in ages & just generally doing what i’ve done best since year 3… yap
living the dreams 🖤 big thank you to all the production team
we go again from birmingham every day this week
🎥 it’s a showreel!
just some of the presenting tings i’ve done recently & looking back i’ve realised just how much fun all of this stuff i call a ‘job’ truly is
anyway here’s that weird thing influencers say that i have to do but just feels like the ick… for the full showreel click the link in my bio 🌚

i’m so happy that i pitched a film like this, shining a light on a side of the foster care system many are not aware of… volunteering your time not as a a foster carer but as an independent visitor

i’m starting a business & i need your help 🧍🏿♂️
this is scary tings but something i’ve been yapping about to my closest ones for a very long time & now it’s time do something
with only around 1.4% of journalists coming from a black background it’s dark out here, so i’m starting something new to help the next generation of storytellers - because i definitely needed it coming up
welcome to the journey as i build @blackboyjournos & more from scratch
do i know what i’m doing to start a business? no
am i doing it anyway with you along every step? yes 🖤
creatives don’t work for free! well maybe, idk.
episode 1 sharing 10 stories from my 10 year journey in radio to help anyone who loves radio or fighting for their lives in the creative industry
i think i might have lowkey worked for free to get here, but i’ve realised that i have not done what i would say to others
full video on tiktok for the full advice #creative #storytime #working
another uni talk 🤝🏿
had a good time sharing my story & talking to the students at @unibirmingham
if i ever told the younger version of me who was using this uni’s library (even though i didn’t go here) on a sconul card, that he would one day be doing talks here… mad!
sidenote: someone definitely got chopped out of the picture because it wouldn’t allow me to fit everyone in so soz 😔
i never wanted to be a radio presenter.
i never had the confidence. but somehow here i am 10 years later doing the first thing i finally felt good at.
we’re going on a journey this year & it’s time to start talking about the tings - hopefully these experiences can help someone else.
i’ll be honest i’m just happy to be here 🤝🏿
been having a great time covering the last week-&-a-bit across our birmingham shows on @bbc1xtra
did i expect beef over my top @pharrell tune? absolutely not.
You just carried on…

got to do a few talks recently at university & college 🖤
the past few weeks have reminded me of how much i have spent working with young people in a year as a facilitator - i may not have been posting about it on the main but it’s literally been my life 😅
it’s added to the direction of my journey & i’m excited for that to start making sense to you in 2026 👀
thank you @keeleuniversity@walsall_college
pics that never made it in 2025 but should have
these last 12 months have taught me that not every year is to exceed the last, but an opportunity to find the new version of yourself (again)
excited & grateful to God for whatever is next my g 🖤
