🌍 El Problema:
Es completamente absurdo que muchos autos modernos no tengan un simple medidor de temperatura del motor en el tablero. ¡Solo te tiran una luz de advertencia cuando ya se está sobrecalentando y suele ser demasiado tarde! 🛑🌡️ Necesitaba una solución real que pudiera "instalar y olvidar".
🛠️ El Hardware:
Diseñé un tablero completamente inalámbrico basado en "Energy Harvesting" que se conecta automáticamente a un adaptador OBD2 ELM327 BLE estándar (<$6 USD).

📉 La Ingeniería:
Desarrollar verdaderamente para "Energy Harvesting" es imposible si solo estás adivinando tu consumo de energía. Poder usar herramientas como el Qoitech Otii Ace Pro es otro nivel. Me permitió perfilar mi código y cazar cada microamperio desperdiciado. ¿El resultado? ¡Un consumo en Deep Sleep de solo ~286µA!
⚡ Características Clave:
🔋 Batería Infinita: Sobrevive casi 24 días en total oscuridad. El panel solar repone el uso diario, haciéndolo virtualmente inmortal.
🤫 Sondeo Silencioso: Despierta cada 30s para revisar las RPM. Si el carro está apagado, aborta la conexión inmediatamente para ahorrar energía, sin siquiera encender la pantalla.
🧛♂️ Caza-Vampiros de Hardware: El código "mata" agresivamente el chip LoRa interno y los switches de RF manipulando directamente los pines GPIO.
🧟♂️ Watchdogs Anti-Zombies: Protecciones de software para sobrevivir a cuelgues del Bluetooth sin necesitar un botón de reset físico.
⚙️ Personalizable: ¿Quieres mostrar otro sensor en lugar de la temperatura? ¡Solo cambia el PID en el código!

The RAK12027 isn’t your typical “trip a pin” sensor… turns out it’s a full D7S seismic brain (I2C + interrupts), so yeah — this just escalated 😅
Instead of fighting it, I’m leaning in:
👉 Forking this into a side project
👉 Building Desk Quake v2
👉 RAK4631 + D7S + Meshtastic/MQTT alerts
Goal:
Real seismic detection → real mesh alerts
Not a dead end… just turned into something way cooler.
