I haven’t really shown my face around here in a while so allow me to re-introduce myself.
Hi, I’m Lauren, but most people just call me Boo. I hard launched Raisin Hell in 2020 as a muffin delivery service to people in lockdown. The whole endeavor took off pretty much immediately and I’ve never had to go back to a boring old “real” job ever since!
Despite the fact that I own a business I am hardcore anti-capitalist. Some people may think that to be a little hypocritical, but being a business owner is the only way I’ve ever been able to pay myself a living wage without having to compromise my core beliefs. Anti-capitalism is not actually anti-money, it’s the belief that every single person in the world should be able to easily support themselves in a dignified manner and that’s such a basic concept that anyone who claims to not get it is actually just a huge jerk.
When I’m not baking I pretty much just stay home and hang out with my two pups Rosie and Macho Man (I was going through a phase when I named him I don’t wanna talk about it lol) and I’m somehow lucky enough to have the most sweet and handsome boyfriend in the world who annoys the shit out of me every day yet I still look at him like this 😍 all the time. He helps me out with deliveries and all kinds of other things to keep this business afloat and he’s just the best.
All I want to do is use this business for the greater good. All I need is enough stability for myself to be able to stand on solid ground while we try to work together to build the society we actually want to live in. I didn’t name this business Raisin Hell just because it’s cute and catchy, I’m actually here to raise some fucking hell! I’m a Libra sun/Aries rising so not a single injustice slips by me unnoticed and the fire that lurks beneath my airy exterior burns for change. I’m thankful to the day ones who’ve been with me since the beginning and I hope all of you will continue with me on this journey of building this business, making cakes and raising some goddamn hell!!!

We’re doing small drops early in the morning, still warm from the oven. Like literally, as soon as they’re cool enough to handle I run them right over to Vessel. So wake the f up, get your sh*t together and run over to Vessel to snag yourself one of the freshest muffins in town!
It may still be a little chilly for ice cream sandwiches but we had a lovely test run over the weekend at @ingenuitycleveland for the @lotteryleague draft.
Happy to report that we’ve officially gone a whole year without the ice trike getting stolen or having a catastrophic incident!!!! Best vibes only for the upcoming 2026 ice cream season!!!!!
