Set in a neon-drenched cyber animal city divided by class and power, Curly and Xiaohu are a rogue thief duo who steal back truths that were never meant to stay hidden. In a late-night raid, they break into an upper-city archive and escape with a cold gray metal case containing sealed records that reveal District 9 is about to be quietly erased and sold off. Chasing them is Baozi, the city’s most relentless tracker — a calm, precise silver-shaded cat who knows exactly how they move.
Running about two and a half minutes, the film uses a fast urban pursuit as its outer structure while centering its suspense on a single urgent question: can the truth reach the people of District 9 before dawn? More than a simple heist-and-chase story, it is a race against time about power, trust, and moral choice — a story in which two outlaw couriers try to deliver the truth before an entire neighborhood is erased on paper and in reality.#aianimation #aishorts #cyberpunk
