Returning from the „Köln Concert“ Spring Tour 2026 of 5 cities (Bordeaux, Paris, London, Dublin, Brussels) and 4 countries. I am thinking back to various moments while spending a short weekend at home.
It was almost 4 years ago that Marc Cardonnel
@raindogprod the executive producer of the
@philharmoniedeparis offered me the Keith Jarrett’s „The Köln Concert“project. Each time I pass by the entrance of the Vienna airport where I received Marc’s phone call, I still remember the surprise that made my heart beat faster. The following year there were 4 sold-out performances at the
@cite.delamusique in Paris with
@thomasenhco with whom I shared the stage.
3 years have passed, filled with life’s experiences, a time that has allowed
@thomasenhco and I to share the stage together while also becoming close enough to reflect together on how we are growing as artists who have become friends able to share these experiences, and the stage. Listening to each other has brought us closer.
The 3 of us, Marc & Thomas, have toured together in different cities, inspiring each other, and bringing inspiration and „spice“ to our performances.
I am deeply grateful to the „The Köln Concert“ and the great Keith Jarrett whose music has connected me to a wonderful group of friends. Lovely Chantal was there to support us at our performance in Dublin, and the day after our performance we explored Dublin’s nature together, often through strong winds and rain, laughing although soaking wet, creating long-lasting memories. The Irish folk music and Guinness beer at the historic Irish pub with Thomas after our performance in Dublin were an unforgettable moment of the tour.
Keith Jarrett says, „The performance of the music is the result of the process of how we live.“
I’m thinking now of Marc, Richard, and the
@philharmoniedeparis staff with all their preparation for this tour, of the friends I have made along the way, the warm applause from the audience, and the wonderful colleague & friend Thomas, all of which have been a blessing in my life. Now I am ready to continue the process.
