Rainbow Stage is thrilled to announce our 2026 Superstar Season. We’re bringing three iconic shows to the stage next summer, and we cannot WAIT to share them with you under the dome.
⭐️ First up, we kick things off with the rock-opera classic Jesus Christ Superstar running from June 25 until July 12.
🎀 Then we’ll bend, snap, and shine our way into August with the fabulously fun Legally Blonde playing from August 13 - 30.
🎻 To close out this unforgettable season, we’re excited to co-produce Fiddler on the Roof with the Winnipeg Jewish Theatre, running from September 9 - 13.

Rainbow Stage is pleased to invite applications for our 2026 Acting Intensive, a professional training opportunity for emerging and early-career musical theatre artists. This program offers a supportive environment to develop your craft, build connections, and engage in focused, high-level training.
Location: Crescent Arts Centre, 525 Wardlaw Ave
Dates: June 1–5 and June 8–12, 2026
Deadline to apply: 9:00 AM, Monday May 11th, 2026.
Paid Participant Positions
These positions are intended for early-career artists who are beginning to establish themselves professionally. Applicants should demonstrate a strong commitment to their practice and be available for the full duration of the program.
Auditor Participant Positions (Free)
Auditor positions are open to emerging artists with prior training and experience in theatre, and a clear commitment to pursuing the profession. Auditors are welcome to participate at no cost. Limited absences are permitted and should be noted in the application.
Who Can Apply
Past Acting Intensive participants (Auditors and Observers) are encouraged to reapply.
