Let’s talk about age and consistency and movement and all those things for a moment. Cause I’m feeling pretty damn proud rn, it’s amazing how this is going forward! I started my acrobatics journey a few years back, I’m 42. And no, I’m not an athlete or gymnast or anything, I didn’t do much sports. I know, a lot of people will say I’m just lucky or have good genes, specially after 5 births. But I don’t think so. I have put a lot of effort into getting there and I spend a lot of time of my days on practising, not because I’m specially ambitious, no, cause I really like it. I think this is the key to all the things around movement: Find the thing that you really like to do, that gives you joy. Ok, also give urself credit for sometimes not being into moving so much, totally valid to have less energy. Sometimes we need easy times and nice food and lots of cuddles. So what I’m saying is, don’t beat urself up if you are not there where you want to be, or if you are never able to get there. It’s the journey that matters, the Babysteps. And also, on Instagram you just see what Instagram wants you to see. 😉 #instagood #acrobatics #over40 #movement
